We started Bookshop because we couldn't find what we were looking for. The big retailers had everything but cared about nothing. The small shops cared but couldn't carry breadth. We wanted both.

Today, our team of 32 readers, yes, that's our actual job title, curates a catalogue of over 120,000 titles. Every featured book has been read by someone on staff. Every recommendation has a real human behind it.
